Passed in 2018, Act 110 encourages institutions to develop and implement campus wide suicide prevention plans. Institutions whose suicide prevention plans meet all the requirements laid out in the Act will qualify as a Certified Institution of Higher Education. The schools with this certification are recognized annually on the Pennsylvania Department of Education website. You can find a checklist of these requirements below.
